I'm a virgin. 17. And I'm afraid to lose it because of the emotional things people say you go through the but most of all I'm afraid of regretting it and losing it to the wrong person. I've been with my bf for about 6 months and I love him to death, definatly has been better to me hen any other guy, but I'm just afraid of doing it with him. He dosnt rush me or tried to push me, he wants me to ready but I'm horny a lot but afraid to do it🙄

If you're afraid to have sex or worried about having sex at all do NOT do it. When you're 100% ready you won't be afraid at all. You boyfriend sounds like he cares about you and wants you to be ready which is great! Too many guys don't think that way. Just wait until you're ready- when you don't need to ask when should I have sex. You'll know when the time is right.

Personally I feel like we place too much importance on female virginity. I was your age when I lost my virginity and I was scared about how will I know if he's the right one etc? For my case he wasn't right, and the sex was horrible,  but it lead me down the path to finding out what I wanted from a partner. It solidified to me that I didn't want to wait until marriage because I would've hated being married to someone like him. If you want to, and you trust your boyfriend go for it, if you don't want to then don't feel pressured to. Don't let society shame you for knowing what's right for your body,  only you know that.

Whenever you're ready! And it sounds like you are, if you're with a great guy that you really really really really really love, and your horny, I'd go for it! Everybody's going to be nervous before their first time, it's normal, you just gotta get through it. 
P. S. - Your first time is not going to be great. In fact it might even be painful, and it might be the worst sex that you ever have, but without that first time, it won't get better!

Hey I can relate to your situation like I lost my virginity when I was 15 years old in 9th grade to my BF and we where together longer then 6 months but I feel that you should wait cause there was many times when I regretted losing it to him it comes along with to many issue like its like your gone to be glued to him after that cause that's your first u should take a long hard look at him and think Ik that they can sweet talk you into (mine did) but when your in the moment its gone to be hard to stop cause it going to feel different and nice but once it's gone it no getting it back and I really don't won't you to be heartbroken over losing your virginity to the wrong guy think about the out come when you do lose it..... Like I said once it's gone it's gone it's NO GETTING IT BACK ❗️

I was 15 when I first lost my virginity, it was quite a young age however I'm still with the same partner today. I was so nervous and afraid to sleep with him for the first time especially as it wasn't his first time. After, I realised very quickly that it actually isn't that much a deal, especially if the trust is there with in the relationship! It brings you a whole lot closer together. If you don't feel ready don't do it. You can never take it back. I lost my virginity at 14 and I regret it every day of my life. I wish I would have waited. But I didn't and I can't take it back.
