Mixing formulas?

Just curious if anyone has tried mixing enfamil gentlease and enfamil AR. My son is highly gassy and fussy, but recently he has started spitting up a significant amount of his meals he's on gentlease now I was thinking of adding enfamil AR. His pediatrician has no thought on the matter, she says spit up is perfectly normal, I just feel his amount isn't.

It may seem like a lot but it probably isn't. As long as he's gaining weight and isn't in pain then spit up is just a laundry issue. They do grow out of it. I had a happy spitter and by 6-7 months she had grown out of it.

There is a difference between spit up and puking. I do not recommend mixing formulas. Some people may sprinkle some cereal in the bottle but dr don't recommend it. I do it just because my son pukes a lot and it seems to be the only thing keeping him from doing it. It's not a lot but enough to thicken it up some.

I am thinking of doing the same thing, mixing the two. My babies stomach is doing better since I switched him to enfamil gentalease but he is now spitting up like crazy. I’m pretty sure he has acid reflux as well. I’m curious if you mixed the two formulas and if so what were the results?
