PLEASE HELP ME I think something is seriously wrong..

Okay, so I got strep a week ago and therefore I was put on antibiotics, as soon as I went on them I'm pretty sure I got a yeast infection (it was extremely itchy and such). Today, I took a canesten for my yeast infection and had sex with my boyfriend a few hours later and it hurt so bad. I have no idea what was wrong but I almost had to tell him to stop it was excruciating. Is the pain from my yeast infection? Or something else?
