Dating someone with Kids

Any advice on dating a man with a child? He's a great guy, but I've never dated someone that has been divorced and has a child. The daughter is only a little over a year old. He's a great guy, he treats me like a princess so far. We have a lot in common, and everything is going great. The daughter is just a little scary for me. Please good advice. I really want to try to make it work. Thank y'all!
