Is there like, different brands of birth control, some of them working better than others? And which would be the best to start using as a first timer?

When choosing a birth control you should think about what would work best for you and the potential side effects.
Some are more effective than others.
The best way to know is to get a chart (usually offered at clinics/Dr offices, you may be able to find one on Google).....compare them side by side and see what fits your needs.

If your referring to the pill there are TONS of different brands out there all protect against pregnancy the same but some have less side effects then others some work better for fighting acne some are designed for people that have stomach issues with birth control theres tons so youd want to go over all that with your doctor

I was on the depo shot first and regret it. Made my bones weak to the point that I take pain medicine because I hurt almost everyday. Made me have migraines and I gained weight. A good friend of mine had that implant in their arm and although it rarely happens, she got pregnant on it and didn't know until she was 4 months along. I'm on the pill and I like it. I think it's a good option for a first time user. I have no bad aids affects on it either.

I recommend nexaplanon to everyone. It's inserted in your arm. It last 3 years. And I'm on my second round!
