Unprotected Sex

I have the Paragard iud so sometimes my boyfriend and I don't use protection because I know I'm safe...but sometimes when he comes inside me I feel a weird tingle/close to a burning feeling up there. Is that normal for when semen is in the vagina? Not worried, it's just a little uncomfortable for a few minutes and I'm curious if that happens to anyone else?
