Can a Uti affect a pregnancy test ???

My period is suppose to start tomorrow but I haven't had any symptoms like my cramps or craving sour food. But my boobs are alittle sore. Also I recently just got a Uti so I started taking Uristat. I wanted to take a pregnancy test but i don't know if a Uti is going to affect the results of the pregnancy test mostly since the pills for the Uti are making me pee orange. Help !!!
