No future with bf?

Question

Everytime I try to bring up our future, my boyfriend quickly shuts it down. I'm starting to think maybe he doesn't want a future with me. He says he loves me so much, he's so romantic, he sends me long messages saying why and how much he loves me, but i really start to question it when I get shut down. If he says he loves me and that I truly am the one for him (like we've never gotten in an argument or anything ever) why doesn't he want to talk about our future together?

I've been in 3 relationship that lasted over a year each before I met the man I'm with now, each taught me something different about relationships.
My first question, how long have y'all be together? No time together doesn't mean you do or don't love each other. Just wanting to know to try to help a bit more.
Next question for you, have you met his family and has he met yours? If y'all have been together a while or even a shorter amount of time, then that's a big key in the relationship. If y'all haven't introduced the other to yalls families for reasons being personal, then that's different. But if the case is that he has no intentions of letting you meet his family, or he doesn't want to meet yours then he most likely doesn't want to have a serious future with you. I personally could not ever stay in a relationship with someone who wouldn't want to meet my family, and not let me meet his. 
Him not openly talking about the future might just be a guy thing. My boyfriend doesn't ever talk about the future unless I start talking about it first. We're in the process of looking for our first home, but he hates talking about it. Simply because he has no idea what the future has to offer, it stresses him out thinking about going through the process of moving and finding another job in a new city. So maybe your boyfriend just isn't sure about his own future, making it hard to talk about yalls future together.
