How to ask my guy if he wants to have a relationship with me?

So I've been dating a guy for a couple of months but we don't have a label yet. He said he loves me but I'm afraid to ask him if he's serious and if he wants to have a serious relationship with me? I'm confused and afraid at the same time. What if I ask him then his answer is NO, I think I'm gonna be crazy lol. Should I ask him or just wait for him to say it?
