Being a Teenager

So I am almost 15 and I want to do so many things before I am an adult and that includes m hair dye. I want to be different and not have a boring brown color like %50 of my school. My mom dyes her hair because she wanted to leave her last behind after my parents got divorced and she won't let me dye my hair and I don't understand why she doesn't really have a good reason all she says is "I never dyed me hair when I was a teenager" or she just says no I have been asking her for about a year I need help understanding why she won't let me she never answers me when I ask...
