why is he turning down showers together?

He never turned down showering together but here lately he's been doing it... makes me worry a little more than I should. I feel insecure when he turns it down because in my head I'm going "is there something wrong with me or my body?" "What am I doing wrong?" Any pointers?

Maybe he just wants to take a shower. Showering together can be fun but honestly it gets a little annoying after a while. I love showering alone cause you have a ton more room and can take your time doing what you gotta do. So he probably just wants some good alone time to take a relaxing shower.

As someone who showers with their spouse every single day at LEAST once, I understand your concern and pain. I would be confused and hurt too if my husband suddenly decided the same. The shower is a great place for thought and reflection; maybe something else is on his mind? Let him know you're available to listen and that if he needs you, he can come to you - he may be internalizing or processing something that has nothing to do with you at all; or maybe he is going through something he hasn't spoken to you about yet.

Maybe he just wants to shower alone for a while? My fiance and I used to shower all the time together, we still do but now we have our own showers once in a while. He usually comes home from work in the morning, wakes me up and says "come on, I want to have a shower" as if he can't do it on his own lol but some days like today, he'll just say he's going to have a shower and will tell me he wants to shower alone. It's a normal thing, give him time :)

My man does the same thing. He most likely just wants his space. If you guys are ALWAYS together like my boyfriend and I, then yeah lol he only wants the same 15 minutes of alone time he gets.
