Depo shots

I was on depo last year around may and had it that one injection. Of course it last 12 weeks before the next but I decided not to take it again after the effects it had (NOT INCLUDING THE PEACE OF MIND FROM FROM HAVING NO PERIOD😌😌😊) long story short its October And I've been having unprotected sex ever since and I'm just curious why I'm not pregnant 🤔 . All the surveys and reviews on the internet says 10 months to a year and it's well over a year ... any comments ??
