My doctor said they won't see me till 8 weeks 🙁

I am 5-6 week pregnant. I am not 100% how far I am since my period has been all over the place since I got off birth control. I am seeing so many people with ultrasounds already but my doctor said they wait until you are 8 weeks before they see me. My ultra sound is set for December 14th. Thinking of telling my parents right after the 14th since I am already showing! I have only told one person other than my husband who is a co-worker whom I team teach with. When teaching I was feeling nauseous so I asked him if he could cover. Afterwards I told him it might happen more often and he got the drift. We can't wait to see our little buldle of joy! The struggle is real!
