boyfriend issues please help

Ok so my dad wanted me to break up with my boyfriend because he did t like him and felt sooeas off about him. So I spoke with my boyfriend and tried to think of a solution to resolve the issue! Then he said I should listen to my dad and to everything well... BUT TO WELL🙂😶now he just talked to me for the first time in almost a week saying nice things... then some not so nice things that were pretty disrespectful like ... and now I'm positive my dad was right !not only for Jose reasons but for me spending some time away from him and realizing he's just not the one and that I don't love him as much as I thought I did😶! I wanna forsure breaks things off with my boyfriend now... but how should I tell him, I wanna handle it like an adult and not have any bad blood between us, because At the end of the day I still care about!
