fights with SO? good or bad?

Me and my hubby get in our fights and sometimes they're really really bad just bc we are us, but we ALWAYS work them out and I never fall asleep upset or scared. Do you think it's okay to fight with an SO?

I think it's natural but if it happens a lot or it's emotionally or physically abusive then it's not okay or healthy .

Is it fighting or is it bickering? My husband and I bicker all the time. Sometimes they escalate to fights but I mean it's normal, your two different people that are always around each other. Arguing is bound to happen

There's a difference of fighting such as name calling, being belittled, cursing each other out, bringing up the past, comparing to exs, storming out, slamming doors, physical, mental, emotional abuse, using kids as emotional leverage to get what you want or threatening that you can't see the kids if you don't do this. Being controlling, offensive, disrespectful, insulting, threatening, yelling and screaming etc. And having a conversation. The minute you raise your voice and catch an attitude they stop listening and blocks you. Relationships aren't supposed to be hard, if they are, then you may be with the wrong person. Been with my guy 4 years. We never fight. We appreciate all efforts. From opening my door to thank you for dinner. We both put in 100% effort each. Not 50/50 because half the time you would be unhappy. And only one person is making the effort while the other gets tired of trying to keep the relationship going and puts in all the effort. If you are fighting due to lack of trust or cheating or going through each other's Phone due to doubts of fidelity that's not good. And remember there is always a nicer way of saying things. put the damn toilet seat down jackass. Isn't going to get through to him. On the contrary, he will defy you and leave it up on purpose just to piss you off. V.s. baby I know you don't want me to hurt myself, I would greatly appreciate if you could make the effort to put the seat down and when He remembers, thank you I appreciate you remembering my love. We used the "I feel we" method. No blame, name calling etc as above. I feel we are drifting apart and I don't want that to happen just as much as you don't my love. maybe suggest date night once a week. When we are at dinner no phones. We hold hands across the table and talk at a restaurant etc. Relationships are what you make them. I hope things get better.
