Lost my virginity!

Soooo a couple of days ago my boyfriend and I decided we're both ready to "engage in coitus". Well... my hymen is like very full with only a little opening where my period blood is supposed to come out that time of month... it hurt A LOT and It felt very numb when he entered.... But in the end we didn't keep doing it

We saw a few posts saying that discomfort the first time or so are expected and we should have a second attempt after it heals.... any tips to make sure that it doesn't hurt if there's still a bit of hymen that is attached or smth like that?
