Question, what is the importance of losing your virginity? Or is it really all that important? What do you all think? My friends often poke fun at me for being a virgin, I can't tell if I'm embarrassed or I just really don't care.

Virginity is different to everyone. Some people hold value to it like me. Others dont care. Its really up to the individual.

It's a social construct. It was important to me before I realized how ridiculous it really was. When I had sex, I didn't lose anything. I didn't change as a person. I'm still valuable and worthy. I'm a sexual being, just like most of us are, and there's nothing wrong with that. Virginity is yet another way to try to shame women for being sexually expressive.

It varies from person to person others think it's a huge thing that you have to wait till marriage Bc it's this huge gift while others don't think it's that much of a deal I'm in between I would say i prefer to give it to someone I love but I am by no means waiting till marriage I need that D 😅😅😊😏

It's not important to me. I am a virgin and I don't plan on changing that any time soon. People can make fun of me all they and but I really couldn't care less.
