discharge

So, I thought i started my period and when i went to go check, it was clear liquid discharge. its not my first time having this but i just read somewhere that thats the sign of ovulating or pre ovulating. Can anybody tell me if thats it or if its anything else???? theres nothing that comes with it, no pain, no smell, no itchiness, nothing.
