Lo loestrin Fe side effects

Just started birth control (my second day) pill and I don't really feel different at all. Many people talk about nausea and all sorts of stuff. Is the pill I'm on not strong enough of something? Should I still be protected from pregnancy? Also if anybody has taken lo loestrin fe, what have you experienced with it?
