shaving down there???

Question

I'm a swimmer so i have to shave a lot anyways but whenever i do i get red bumps all the time and i get really bad chafe burns from my swim suits and my underwear. i've tried so many different things to help but nothing seems to work. any suggestions that work for you guys???? i also wanna go farther w my bf but i'm nervous because i don't wanna shave and have it be all bumpy when his face is down there. pls help!!💕💕

Use something mild, I love Dr. Bronner's shave gel (lavendar or unscented) and it's the last thing I shave in the shower because the skin has had time to soften and the folicles to open. 
Coconut oil is great to use after but what I have found that works wonders is an all natural diaper cream (for babies) and it's safe to get near your lady bits ;) 
Also, try not wearing underwear and some loose pants after you shave for an hour or so. It really helps because there's nothing to rub or irritate the skin.

Try using a heavy duty men's razor. They're specifically meant for thick coarse hair. Just be very careful cause the blades are way sharper. Use shaving cream as well. The slicker the better.

After that, pat dry don't rub. And apply a moisturizer but only on the top and around your legs not near your actual vagina!! That's a no no

After I shave I use hydrocortisone cream around the party line area where your undies/bathing suit will rub and it definitely helps! Also shave side to side, not against the grain (it will cause less bumps)

After I shave mosterize and if u put coconut oil on the area it will make it less likely to have ingrown hairs

I usually put conditioner on the area I'm going to shave which makes it a lot smoother & then put body lotion for sensitive skin on right afterwards. It works for me😊

There's a cream called bikini zone you can find it at any drugstore you can apply that after shaving daily. However I got bad razor bumps so I stopped shaving and started waxing. I would recommend a sensitive skin wax or a hard wax it should help.
