9 Months Dating

Hey, so my boyfriend and I have been dating for 9months marking today. He's never gotten me flowers or anything small for these days I've spoken to him about it but nothing. I just don't know what to do or say. I mean sure I may sound selfish and I'm really not a person to want things bought for them but at the same time I do like to feel appreciated.
