Rhys or Reece spelling for a boy?

So I made a poll not to long ago, sorry to make another so quickly but it became clear that the Rhys spelling might cause a lot of mispronunciations, so we're rethinking it. The name is pronounced Reece, so now we're thinking of spelling it as it's pronounced. The Reese spelling just reminds me of the candy, so that's a no-go. Anyway, thanks for the help!

In my head I pronounced Rhys as rice, but I think Reece is lovely, and I agree with you that spelling is better than Reese

Honestly, we are using it as our sons middle name and I'm surprised people had trouble with it in your other poll. It's a traditional name pronounced "Reese" - not like it's made up or anything! I wouldn't worry about using the traditional spelling, but go with whatever you like!

Reece or Reese. My friend's son is named Rhys and nobody spells or pronounces it correctly. She always says she wishes she'd spelled it traditionally.
