How much pain is normal post partum?

My doctor doesn't think I need to be seen unless I'm soaking a pad, I'm bleeding more then I was the last few days but it isn't completely soaking a pad... I'm passing some small clots but they said it's normal. My back hurts it's like a throbbing pain off and on and I have some pain in my lower back/ hips and butt but I feel like I'm constipated. When I pee I get sharp pain where my stitches are but it goes away after, but it literally stops me from peeing it's so sharp at first lol. I guess I want to know if this is all normal? It seems like my doctor doesn't want to check me unless I'm bleeding to death or something, so I want to know if this is what normal PP pain is? I'm kind of a hypochondriac and my mind always assumes it's the worst thing possible. 😂 I was feeling so good for the first week and now it's completely different. 
- Also I just realized the doctor said no lifting anything heavier then my baby, but I picked up my fat ass 20 pound cat last night. 🙄

Everything sounds pretty normal.

If you're in extreme pain find another doctor. It's not impossible to fracture your pelvis during birth.

Using a peri bottle while you pee will help you with the burning.

If you're not taking a stool softener it would be a good idea to start.

If you're bleeding more than have been you're doing too much and you need to take a break.

My doctor was the same way. He acted like my excruciating pelvic and back pain was no big deal. It literally took me fifteen minutes to get out of bed to feed my baby. I eventually made an appointment with another doctor when I noticed a bulge where there shouldn't be one. They said I have pelvic organ prolapse- my bladder, rectum, and uterus.

I don't think that's what's going on with you, but the moral of the story is that if YOU are worried and you feel as if you need to be seen by a doctor, make an appointment. If your doctor will not see you, find another. Some pain can be normal, but without being in your shoes, no doctor can tell you if the pain you're feeling is a normal amount or an amount indicating a problem.

You're probably fine, but you may need a doctor that takes your concerns seriously.

Sounds pretty normal to me. My blood flow changed throughout my 4 weeks of bleeding. Some times it was a lot, sometimes I would think it was over.

I still get stabbing pain where my stitches were 12 weeks pp if I move in certain ways.

I also got fooled feeling great that I think I pushed it too much without even realizing it. Week two was actually way worse for me than my first week.

If you're bleeding more than normal then you're fine. You probably just over did it. Clots are fine unless they're the size of a golf ball. And unless you fill a pad an hour then I wouldn't worry about it. Post partum is so uncomfortable, people don't talk about it. But it really is. I would rather give birth twice than have to deal with it. Ibuprofen can help with the pain tho.

That's how I was and I had a csection and was pretty miserable. I figure I pushed a person out I wasn't going to feel great. Just make sure u hydrate and rest as best u can.

That all sounds pretty mild and very normal. After a couple I've had serious cramping pain while nursing because of the uterus contracting. That's also normal. 
The weeks following birth are generally quite uncomfortable.

Sounds pretty normal to me. I had my son on march 2. He was a big baby. 8 pounds 11 ounces. I was on drugs for induction starting the night of February 28 so I had a 35 hour labor and 5+ hours of pushing. I literally felt like I was dying when they discharged me and for about 2 weeks afterwards. I guess that's all normal. And now that I look back I know it was a lot of pain but anxiety about everything was making it worse.
