I'm sorry but it's a 3 year difference that's not big. I was a freshman and my boyfriend was a senior when we met. We've been together for 2 years and now I'm 17 and he's 20 it's not bad and anyone who has anything to say shouldn't be saying anything at all. We have our own apartment and ttc baby #1.

Don't worry about it. Just make sure that he's trustable and won't force you to do anything you don't want to. I started dating my boyfriend when I was 14 (8th grade) and he was 18 (freshman in college). I ignored all the people that said he's gonna rape me and blah blah blah. I'm now 17 and we're still going strong! He didn't rape me btw and we're very adamant about sex after marriage. Just dont worry about what other people think and do what makes you happy. My friend had this age difference and now she's 18, he's 21. They're still together. It was strange for everyome at first, but you really just have to make sure the older one isn't taking advantage or hurting the younger one

I was 15 and my boyfriend was 18 when we met so it's basically the same, 3 years difference. Its just a little unlikely to see. But as long as both parties are mature I don't see what's wrong with it in my opinion. I've been with my bf for four years now.
