brownish spotting

I'm supposed to start my period in 3 days and it is always super regular like about the same time of day on the day I'm supposed to start all the time never late never early, but today I am spotting like barely at all and it's kind of brownish. Me and my husband have been having unprotected sex and want to have a baby. Could I be pregnant? Do t want to get too excited and then get my hopes up or anything
