Faint Line at 8 weeks?

My friend keeps getting these really faint lines but would be 8 weeks pregnant. She's going to go to the doctor but has anyone else experienced this? Here's today's test in the 3 min window.

Disclaimer: it really is my friends test and not mine, I'm 7 months pregnant, we already know this baby is coming lol

Could be what's called the hook effect. It basically is when you have too much hcg in your urine it turns your test very faint if not negative. I would look it up as this could be the case and the urine just needs to be diluted some to get a darker positive.

If you're saying she would be 8 weeks it would be way darker so idk. I took a test when I was like maybe a week pregant and the line on my tests were visible. Get a digital test that actually says "pregnant" or "not pregnant"

I know someone that never tested positive for those things until they were almost 4 months along. Have her see a doc to be sure, they can do a blood test, or at 8 weeks an ultrasound.

How long has she been getting positives? I think there are two options here. Either she ovulated late and is not as far along as she thinks or her body could just be producing lower levels of hcg. I've heard of it before. Either way, I see the line in both pictures :)
