Okay need advice

I work in a secure mental health hospital, I have very few friends that work there. Yesterday I recieved a email from a job website saying there is a job going at my place. I sent this to both my friends. One of my friends rang me today saying our manager brought him in the office and asked did you send it to her or vice averse. My friend replied I sent to him. He then realised he drippped me in it. I said I have nothing to hide or done anything wrong... am I in the right?
