how to pack eyeshadow/ make the eyeshadow brighter onto the eyelid?

like is there a certain technique i'm missing out, i got the blending okay and watched tutorials and demos on brushes and tbh i find applying eyeshadow for it to be bright and not like a wash better with my fingers. any brushes, primers, eyeshadow bases, please recommend!

You can spray your packing brush with like a priming mist like mac fix+ (youcould probably even spray it with water in a mister honestly) it makes the color more pigmented. Or when using a packing brush dont swipe it on just press it on

I use NYC eyeshadow pencil in milk on my eyelids as a base before putting any eyeshadow on. Not only does it make eyeshadow brighter and pop but you could stand out side in a storm and that eyeshadow won't budge

Ok well you can use an eye primer or a heavy duty concealer that's lighter than your skin or white (i recommend nip and fab concealer). To make the eyeshadow more pigmented get a fixing spray (or Mac fix+) to spray on your brush before packing on the colour. I recommend Colour pop or make up geek shadows they are VERY pigmented anyway.

If I want my lid shadow to pop I'll spray my brush with some setting spray then dip into shadow and apply. It reaaaally makes the colour pop. Just don't soak your brush or the shadow will be cakey on your lid & may dry funny. I spray the brush from a few inches away.
