Long distance relationship?

What are your guys opinions on LDR? 
I believe if youre willing to have trust and you really do love each other I think it's okay. But I do feel like trust has to be there else it wouldn't work.
Anyone on here in a LDR? What's it like not being able to see them unless its over the phone?

I think it's a waste of time. Unless you or he is ready to move at some point. Someone always cheats "because they were lonely or whatever other crap." Done ldr twice never again. Unless you are going back and forth frequently fine but I think it's a waste of time.

I've been in one for almost two years. We see each other on avg two weeks every two months as he had flexibility. It is extremely, extremely tough and you are going to navigate things your friends dont understand. I am very independent and thrive on chaos and lack of routine - and LDR enables me to be that way, but the flipside is often I live completely opposite lifestyles and also find it a little suffocating when my SO visits me and I feel obligated to spend all my time with him and not waste his money for coming over. But thats my issue. You need a really strong internal compass to tell you when it's no longer working for you...which I dont have lol. I actually find that missing someone is not the most difficult part of the relationship as we still feel like we are on a honeymoon every time we see each other again, and it keeps the love fresh.
