Advice??

So I have been dating this guy for a couple of months and I've never felt more comfortable in a relationship. He is so sweet and kinda and goofy. But there's a 9 year difference between us. We had sex for the first time yesterday and yeah he took my virginity. (Protection used) but I have some problems.

I want to tell my parents about him. I don't usually date unless I'm 100% comfortable with the guy I'm dating to meet my dad. But there is a 9 year difference. I also feel like since I'm sexually active now I feel like I **should** be on birth control but that's another thing to tell my parents. I'm almost 19 and I'm scared to disappoint them because they wanted me to save myself for marriage. I honestly have no idea how to approach any of these things please help!!
