So my 9 year old is going through puberty! Has been for a little bit now She's already had body odor for awhile and start to get breasts. We've had lots of talks and We are very open about how her body is going to change during this time and what to expect But my question is have any other girls/women got pubic hair before they got their period?She hasn't got her period yet but she does have hair on her private area which she brought up to me the other day. I was a little surprised I remember when I when through puberty I got my period pretty much before anything.
