i don't think a 15 year old should be with an 18 year old. even tho its not a huge age gap the life experience between the two are significant. an 18 year old definitely can manipulate a 15 year old.

But is the 18 yr old a good person? Willing to stay in case anything happens? Those are the types of things you need to evaluate before knowing

I’m 16 and my boyfriend is turning 20 soon. We have an amazing relationship and he doesn’t treat me like a child. 15 and 18 may be slightly different because of the legal age of consent, but I think it’s fine.

I’ve always believed that age is just a number and so obviously I believe an age gap is fine. I have always dated older, but I do believe that it highly depends on the maturity of each person. In this case, I would hope the 18 year old is in a good place and a good influence. At 15, I hope you are mature enough to make good decisions, know right from wrong and know when to say “no” in any situation that may occur. But like I said, it depends on maturity and I don’t know you or where you’re at in your life. 
Now, I’m sure I’ll be judged for this or my partner at the time will, but I feel like maybe if I tell you a bit of my story, it may help or give you something to think about. When I was 13 I began dating a guy who was 19. We were together for 6 years before he passed away. He had a heart of gold and such a sweet soul. But a couple years in to our relationship, we met a group of people at a show and together we got caught up in drugs, which was highly common in the town I grew up in. This was 15 years ago and the drug epidemic has only gotten worse there. Not even for a second do I regret our love or the mistakes made and the difficulty it brought to my life, but I would never want anyone to go through what I did. So my main concern for you is being exposed to people or things that may hurt you, which is why I hope the 18 year old is on a good path. If he truly is then go for it, but if he isn’t or you have any doubt, please take some time to think about yourself and your future.
