My relationship

I'm 21 years old and began my first serious relationship 2 years ago. After being together for a year and a half, things weren't working on both sides. I was so immersed in the relationship in this new town with all these new friends. I forgot who I was and where I came from. I lost myself and I didn't even realize it. I ended things about 6 months ago and found myself. It's been exhilarating and exciting. I've never felt so free and proud of myself. This is the first time in my life that I've loved myself.
