Am I Latina?

Question

I’m half white and half Mexican. My dad was born in Oaxaca and he’s full Mexican and my mom was born in California and she’s caucasian. And I’ve always been confused am I just mixed or considered Latina?  
I’m only 14 so sorry if I sound dumb

There's no such thing as half white and half Mexican bc Mexican is not a race, it's an ethnicity. So you are half white, and half *insert fathers race here*. If he is white, then you are a white Latina/ Hispanic. If he is Native, black, etc, then you are a mixed half white half *X* Latina/Hispanic.

hi!! im latina too,, my family was born in mexico (theyre all spread out too! so i have family from diff states in mexico) however i was born in wisconsin!
no matter what, you're latina! even tho you might be a first generation, where your blood isnt fully latina/mexican/etc, and maybe your spanish isnt good or its still pretty good,, you still have your dads side of the family in you! (that sounded kinda weird, lol)

I think it’s up to you how you want to identify. We have similar backgrounds and I identify as a white Latina.

You can be considered as both.   The official definition Latina is (in North America) a woman or girl of Latin American origin or descent.  Mexico is a Latin American country.  Therefore you are Latina (as am I).
