So we’re both 19 and we’ve been together for over 4 years. My boyfriend is in the military and will only be here for 12 days starting tomorrow. After that I won’t see him until 2019.

I know a lot of parents let their kids have their SO sleep over.

I plan on asking my mom. I want her to know I’m asking because I respect her, and I rather be honest with her. We’re going to have sex regardless if he sleeps over or not, but if he’d sleep over at least it wouldn’t be in a car in the middle of the night. I’m tired of sneaking around and lying. They(parents) know I’m on the pill and that I’m sexually active, so why do we still have to tippy toe around the subject? I just want to open up that dialogue, you know? I wouldn’t bring it up unless it were important to me.

Now I know there’s going to be tons of negative feed back, but I just want advise. If anyone’s gone through this could you please tell me how you brought up the idea. I feel like I have to sit down with her and tell her to let me finish explaining my reasoning.

Both of my parents are Mexican so it’s going to be difficult to convince them. My Latina girls would know that.

Also I want to point out that it’s not like we’re going to be going at it all night. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We just want to spend time together (alone) with out having to deal with other people. Like “intimate” quality time & no I don’t mean sexy fun intimate time, I just mean one on one whether that mean watching friends all night, having pillow talk, or cuddling... but yes I want to have sex with him also. I just don’t want to be disrespectful.
