This whole thing is kind of a weird situation and not sure whether there's an underlying thing or if it's really just the way I am.

Ever since I was 14 I had the feeling that I knew I was asexual, I don't sense sexual attraction, I don't get turned on by people, the whole nine yards. However, I've been on birth control for about the same amount of time (I was originally on it for my heavy and too frequent periods and I've just stayed on it because I don't want a period.).

I was wondering if me being on birth control could have suppressed my hormones to the point where I don't experience sexual attraction and then have no issues not masturbating and everything.

I'm not really comfortable with the idea of touching myself and I did the other day but it didn't really feel good and I'm just sort of questioning it. People say that they started masturbating at such a young age like 12-13 and here I am at 17 with no sex drive and no need to masturbate.

I don't know. Am I weird here?
