This horrible world

I dont understand how some people can be so bad. Abusing children and not having a heart. I just heard about a 7 year old girl (from another country) kidnapped raped and dumped in trash. What kind of monster would do such a thing. It just makes me so sad and scared for my own children. This world has so much pain in it. I hear about a baby not receiving love/care and instead getting neglected at such a small age. Just the thought of a baby crying for someone to comfort it and finding no one makes me sad. Why would god make it so? Why would god allow a child to go through such treatment? Why is this world such a sick horrible place.
