Heartbeat with stethoscope?

Is it possible at all to hear the baby's heartbeat through stethoscope?  One of my apps said that a couple weeks ago but I have also heard others say you can't...

It is possible. But it can be difficult to hear/locate. Dopplars are probably the best choice

Sure it's possible in later pregnancy! HOW do you think was it possible tho hear Babys heartbeat before US??? Midwifes always used an stethoscope....
