Do I like him?

So I've been talking to this guy for a while now but I feel like I'm beginning to get emotionally attached to him because whenever he doesn't text me I start to miss him. Plus anytime he talks about a another girl I feel jealous but I try not to show it because idk if he feels the same way towards me. We've always helped each other through tough times, for example whenever i tell him I'm feeling sad he always does his best to cheer me up. I'm not sure if he's just being a good friend of he actually cares about me like more than friends. Could it be that I'm emotionally attached to him? I dont really want to get too attached to him because he lives an hour away from me so it would be very hard to see him but I also don't wanna stop talking to him.
