Can’t get rid of BV!

Has anyone else had trouble clearing up BV? My doctor first prescribed Metronidazole pills (Flagyl) and those did not clear it up. Then prescribed the metronidazole gel and that did not clear it up either. I went back today and now she has prescribed Clindamycin which I have never used before. Does anyone have any experience using this antibiotic or had a similar struggle? I am just so frustrated that I can’t get rid of it at this point because it’s been ongoing for several months
