Women struggles

I have been using no protection with my boyfriend for months with no luck and now I’m on birth control to regulate my periods, which have started on as far as day 41 of my cycle. They are pretty consistent in length but can start as soon as day 35 to as late as day 46. There is a part of me that really wants a kid but my boyfriend doesn’t know if he wants another since he had one with another girl before he was with me. I know I can’t handle a kid right now but it just hurts a bit to know I may not even get one in the future.
