My boyfriend and i are on a break right now. We haven’t seen each other in almost three weeks. It’s been a week since we started our break. I brought up the topic of the break and he agreed to it due to some circumstances. We haven’t called or texted at all. But we do send each other snap chats. Before the break officially started he told me to snap him a lot so he could be updated on what’s going on in my life. We are separated right now and will be separated until late July. He said that he doesn’t want to ruin the relationship by just being apart. He also said that he has a “sour taste” about us right now because after this year we are entering a long distance relationship. And he said that he loves me and I’m the only person that he cares about the most in his life. We have had a rocky month and our emotions were at an all time high. He said that if we can’t do this “break” because we miss each other so much we can just message each other, but I don’t want to be the one to give in. I feel like I always give in. I just want to make it difficult for him this time...I just don’t want him to take advantage of me. He has mentioned before during an argument that he feels like he does and all he wants is to just be there for me like I am for him.

The first few days of the break were bearable, but lately I’ve been missing him so much. I’m so tempted to text him but idk if I should. I asked my brothers cause they’re guys and one said it was my choice to text him and the other said to not text him even if I want to do badly. I asked one of my friends and she said to text him. He’s been more active on social media since the break started and he takes longer to open my snaps which is weird. I’ve been posting more as well and I’ve been traveling with my two brothers and some friends (who are all guys) my pictures include all of them. I wonder if he’s reacting to it. I just don’t know what to do, and I just want this waiting game to be over. Can someone please give me advice?
