STD talk

Ladies! I need some help with something. So a former partner of mine, who I hooked up with for about 3 months (February-April) just called me tonight to inform me he had tested positive for chlamydia today. He advised me to get tested too, which I probably will eventually but I really don’t think I have it.

I read online a couple places that symptoms for guys (if there happen to be any) occur within 1-3 weeks of exposure & he had a horrible burning sensation when he went to the bathroom among other things.

Him and I only had sex once without a condom, and this was back in the end of March. Other than that, we used a condom. It’s been about 3-4 months since we’ve had sex without a condom, and I find it weird that if he had already had chlamydia before we started hooking up, that he would JUST now be having symptoms.

I haven’t had any unusual symptoms, I’ve gotten my period like normal and haven’t had any weird discharge and what not (I had a friend who got chlamydia and she said this was the most common symptom

if symptoms did occur & it also said this online) so I’m unsure.

I will get tested soon regardless, but would just like some advice or opinions until then??

Edit: Does anybody know if Planned Parenthood does free std testing?
