Disappointed

Today was me and my boyfriends seven year anniversary of being together and I was hoping he would propose. In the beginning of our relationship he talked about getting married but now if a friend ask him when are we gonna get married he says what’s the point and usually you end of divorced. I am 26 and he’s 29 are we still to young? And we do have a four year old together. Could he be scared because his parents divorced? I really want to get married but I feel like I should just give up on the idea. Any thoughts?
