Friends with my ex bf

So me and my ex bf broke up about 7 months ago it was really bad but we've both grown since then and are doing better, yesterday we talked on the phone about it and made up, we ended up talking on the phone for almost 3 hours because we lost track of time. We still both love each other because when we were together the love was real ( we hadn't talked in about 7 months ) I'm not really sure how to be friends with him when those feelings are permanent? He's a good friend, we have always been really close so we wanna be friends again and well we are also on another note I have a boyfriend which I told him so he knows not to over step his boundaries, what do y'all think? * pls no rude comments *
