How often do you bathe your kid?

Baby is 6 months old. We currently give her a bath Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Sunday’s. She has swim on Sundays so we bath her after that to get the salt/chlorine off.

My MIL basically said I am a bad parent because Thursday to Sunday is too long. I should give her a bath Saturday and then again Sunday. She personally thinks I should bathe my baby everyday. I disagree.

Tell me your honest thoughts and any advice. The doctor says bathe every 2-3 days. I just don’t want to bathe her and then go to swim.

It’s been bothering me that my MIL said that. She is getting under my skin.
