My friend told me recently that she’s only had one orgasm in her life, but I’ve heard her say before that a guy “made her cum”... She explained that an orgasm is more intense and that cumming is just whatever.... I’m confused lol

To me its different. For a male it's the same. But I class cum and orgasm for me as a female as being different. Cum is when it feels good and there's excess creamy white discharge. Orgasm is well an orgasm. One can occur without the other, or both can happen simultaneously.

So most women usually don’t experience their first orgasm until there mid to late twenties.. when you cum it’s your body producing more lube.. an orgasm is a whole body reaction.
