I’m 16, and my parents are so so strict. Mostly my mom, but my dad has to pretend be cares. I’m actually a very good kid because of her strictness, but I want some space. I don’t have my license yet so I can’t just go anywhere I want, but I feel like she won’t let me have a life. She already tracks me WHEREVER I go and I just get treated like a baby! I want to be able to go out with a friend without having her all over me about it, let alone a guy. If I have a boyfriend or like a guy, she gets right in the middle of my relationship, and she won’t even let me go on a date or hang out with him unless other people are around, sometimes her. I can have social media but if I have any app without her knowing I get in huge trouble, and she always makes an account so she can see everything I post and like, and she talks to all of my friends. She’ll take my phone sometimes just to read all of my texts and look through all my pictures. She’s constantly walking in my room and she doesn’t let me close my door. All of my friends have the freedom they want and can do literally anything. I can’t even leave the house without her constantly texting me and asking me where I’m going . All I want is privacy and freedom! How do I get her to stop being so strict and give me some freedom? Please give advice or any tips!!
