how to get myself in his head ??

how do you get someone to notice you when you don’t really have the same friends or anything to talk to them easily? there’s a guy at my school whom I think is really cute and he seems really nice & is a junior. I’m a sophomore but we don’t have like ANY of the same friends and my school is small enough it would be hella awkward if I was super forward and he declined me. help...? (We follow each other on insta ... he likes all my posts lmao.. and I have him on snap!)
