Really excited!

My bf of 3 years told me he wanted to purpose to me next year. Which ruined the surprise lol, but I advised him to wait due to us being young, were in our early 20s. & he also has some things to pay off so buying a engagement ring would just add onto the bills. I really love him but I want to take things slow like marriage, kids etc. So I advised him to get me a promise ring instead while we’re young. At first I was whatever with promise rings because some people just do it to show off or a trend. But since my bf is giving me the promise ring, I’m really excited, idk when it will happen tbh. It just a waiting game now. I don’t even care if it’s a big ring or a ring that cost a lot. Just something cute and simple that is less than $100 would just make me very happy. When he told me this, it shocked me at first but after I cried because I was so happy because I love him so much and I see a future with him.

I just needed to rant, I don’t have many to talk to, and I don’t plan on telling anyone I know, and I just couldn’t keep it to myself because I’m just too excited
